Happy First Halloween Weekend Connor

Friday Night:
-Left for Eau Claire around noon; we started 'trying to leave' at 8:30 am ....so I guess it just goes to show how much longer it actually takes
-Connor screamed for about 20 miles between Milwaukee and Madison but by the time we reached the Dells and stopped to give him a break he had already started to calm down. He got fed and a diaper changed and then was good to go for the rest of the trip!
-We arrived at Dan's parents around 4:30 (Grandma and Grandpa Paulsrud) and hung out there until around 8 PM
-Then we headed over to Uncle Bruce and Aunt Shirley's house for some after dinner drinks and dessert. Melanie was in town - we got to meet her too! Connor put his giraffe costume on for Bruce and Shirley to see also! It was a late night - didn't get back to Grandma and Grandpa's until after 11 PM

Saturday:
-Went to Aunt Cheryl and Uncle Mike's around 1 PM
-Talked to Jill, Andy, and Marietta via web cam (they live in Tucson) - so fun to see them, hear their voices and see Marietta - who is getting so big already! Andy is Dan's cousin and Jill is his wonderful wife - they gave birth to Marietta on April 1, 2009
-Dan's Cousin Amy and her kids Kailyn, Hunter, and Carly came over to spend the afternoon/evening with us
-Had a yummy dinner and hung out with the family as Dan and Uncle Mike talked about ways to play practical jokes on the trick or treaters!
-Headed back to Eau Claire around 8

Sunday:
-Headed over to Dan's Grandmas around noon
-Visited with her until about 3 and then back on the road!
-Stopped in Madison to meet up with my sister Tracy, Scott, and Grace who were driving back to MN from Peru
-Connor screams for the last 20 minutes home - must be something about that stretch between Milwaukee and Madison....dang!
-Finally got home a little before 9 pm

Recap of the weekend in photos - ENJOY!
