39 Weeks

39 Weeks and I think it's about time we have ourselves a baby.....

Down to the wire now!

In loving memory

This morning Connor, my mom and I walked in the SE Wisconsin Brain Storm Walk and Run for Epilepsy and Seizure Awareness

We walked in loving memory of Darcy Bergren, the beautiful daughter of friends Brad and Sheri Bergren, who was taken much too soon from this world. It was an honor to be a part of the 'Doin' it for Darcy' team!

Was a beautiful morning on the lakefront in Milwaukee

You can put it on the board...YES!

On Sunday May 27, 2012 we boarded the Amtrak in Mendota, IL and were bound for Chicago Union Station!  We took the train in to head to the White Sox Game.  It was a hot one but a fun day for all (definitely exhausting).  We rode the Amtrak in and then walked to the Red Line which took us right to US Cellular Field - here are the few pictures we have from the day!

Connor fell asleep in the 9th inning and stayed asleep thru the 9th inning, the walk to the red line, the ride on the red line, the transfer to a cab, the transfer backto his stroller, thru Union Station and onto his Nana's lap and didn't wake up until we were in our car and almost to Nana and Papa's house.  Guess you could say the excitement of it all took it out of him! Fun day for my buddy.

I've been friends with Katie and Becky since grade school (well friends with Becky from birth I'm pretty sure) and on May 19th they drove in from their separate directions to our house to spend the day catching up.  They were kind enough to bring us delicious food to eat and more importantly great company!  Here are the few pictures we had from the day:

Here we are all checked in waiting for the ECV.  The good news is - we gave it the old college try - the bad news is baby has decided he/she does NOT want to move.  We'll have more updates tomorrow - we are already back home and not to worry - baby and I tolerated everything today just fine.  More to follow!

Baby P Update

Been a while since I've posted an update and things seem to be in flux so I'll do my best to update everyone:
  • Currently:  38 Weeks
  • Total Weight Gain Overall: 11 lbs. (yup, only gained .2 lbs since 33 weeks - been up and back down several times since then but doctor assures me I'm measuring fine and that's what counts)
  • Heartbeat: 36 weeks - 151, 37 weeks- 132
  • Measuring exactly as I should
  • Baby Placement:  Baby is breech
  • Gender Predictions: I still think a boy but am starting to waiver a little bit now.  Had a dream last night it was a girl and most of the people around me seem to think its a girl.

  • Me 34 Weeks: with my girls Katie & Becky

  • Me 35 Weeks:

  • Me 36 Weeks: (horrible picture but its the only one I have)
  • Me 37 Weeks:

  • Me 38 Weeks:

Today I will be heading to the hospital this afternoon where my doctor and another OB/GYN will attempt to move the baby out of breech position via an ECV (External Cephalic Version).  Wish us luck - hopefully we'll have good news to share on a 'moved' baby later today!
