Almost 3

After we got back from Seattle it was time to gear up for the big T-H-I-R-D Birthday!  His birthday fell on the Tuesday following Labor Day which meant an extended birthday celebration!!  Here is an overview of the celebrations LEADING up to the actual day!

The celebrating started in Madison on Saturday September 1st.  His cousins Mimi/Orin (and their parents Andy/Jill) had just moved to Madison so a bunch of the family came into town.  Turns out Madison is a great place for everyone to get together.  The day started with some time at the pool where Aunt Cheryl/Uncle Mike and Grandma/Grandpa were staying.  That was followed by some play time at Mimi/Orins and topped off with presents and a Cookie Cake.  I thought for sure I had taken pictures but can't seem to find any.  Sooo...Grandma, if you are reading this and have some email them to us! :)

I do have a picture of Connor on Sunday September 2nd with one of his favorite gifts - a violin from Aunt Cheryl/Uncle Mike:

He also picked up a new bike and helmet from Grandma and Grandpa! Can't wait until Spring to use that!!

The rest of Sunday we had a fun family day!  We hit the beach at Kohler-Andrae State Park in Sheboygan:

Then we headed home to head to the Rose's to celebrate with our friends!

What a fun night that was! Whew!  On Monday September 3, 2012 the celebrating continued!  A call from "Cole" (aka Nicole Frkol) to Connor told him that she had gotten him tickets to a White Sox game and he was going TODAY!  He was a little confused at first but then caught on and was clearly one excited boy!

Even sister Kendall got to go!
One more surprise...Nana and Papa met us there!

 Game Stats:
Chicago White Sox 4 - Minnesota Twins 2
Gordon Beckham Homered
Adam Dunn is DH - fresh off the Disabled List
Night Game; Average 79 Degrees

Exhausted and it's not even his BIRTHDAY yet!
